💌 IL # 18: Learning in public

A <5 minute read

Hello, hello!

It’s been a while since I’ve sent out a newsletter and thank you for sticking with me despite being MIA🙈

A lot has been happening behind-the-scenes for Invested Learner:

1/ I’ve been experimenting with learning in public, which resulted in creating a simple homepage showing what I’m currently working on. It’s in a request-only mode right now so let me know if you want access!

I believe that CVs and resumes are things of the past. These pieces of paper are two-dimensional representatives of people. Why stress over a document when you can spend time creating something show your talents and skills?

Why dream of becoming a writer when you can publish something right away? Why pay for an MBA when you can start your own business online and learn from other people?

Even if you’re not on the lookout for a new job, sharing your work in public opens up endless possibilities.

2/ I might be moving to a different host soon. Substack has been a great platform for me to start but it has its limits.

3/ I’m going through a rebrand with the help of friends and mentors! And, oh, I’m in the process of getting a trademark! 😁

That’s it for this week. But before I bid goodbye, have you heard of WikiRacing? If you want a new game to play, you might want to try this out.

‘til next week!

Bituin 💫
